Blog-A-Rhythm_Wordy Wednesday - I can't believe it

When I participated in the Tornado Giveaway II this August, organized by The Book Club, it was all for the excitement. It was via a fellow blogger, Shantala @ Shanaya Tales that I got to know about this Giveaway. I was certain it would be a mammoth experience to learn about over 900 books from 80 authors. The process was simple. Follow the authors, tweet about their books and register in the Rafflecopter. The books in the list were remarkable. Therefore, tweeting and spreading the word was more out of interest than task compulsion of the Giveaway.

I eyed on few of the books I wanted. However, there were 68,845 entries registered in the Rafflecopter, just like me. The Rafflecopter as per my understanding has some kind of algorithm for random selection of winners. In 30 years of my life, I have never won a lucky draw. It made me believe more on hard work than luck. I was certain whenever luck was involved I should not raise my hopes. And for winning this Giveaway, my luck had to fight against 68,844 others. So with all the probability calculated and my historic relation with “luck”, I knew for a fact I am not winning. I was happy participating. However, this time my instinct cheated me. I can’t believe it. The Rafflecopter somehow caught my luck. I am one among the 31 winners of the Tornado Giveaway II. Yay !!

A ton thanks to the organisers for the Giveaway. I am eagerly waiting for the books.
